Virtual Engineering Consultant (m/f)
ICIDO, an international and fast growing company that develops and
markets a complete system of powerful visualization and evaluation
software solutions is seeking for a new Virtual Engineering Consultant.
Leading companies from the automotive and aerospace industry, (Ford,
Boeing, CAT, Siemens, Daimler, etc.) mechanical and systems engineering
as well as prominent research facilities successfully rely on
technology from ICIDO to optimize their product development. ICIDO
solutions range from efficient desktop systems to high-end applications
for the operation of immersive Powerwall and CAVE projection systems.
Educational experience:
A bachelor or master degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or related sciences
Work experience:
Job starters are welcome as well as experienced consultants in the CAD/CAE and PLM or Virtual Reality area
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of CAD Sytems (e.g. Pro/E, CATIA, NGX ….)
- Excellent knowledge of 3D data formats (VRML, STEP, JT, CGR …)
- Ideally excellent knowledge of 3D graphics systems e.g. OpenGL
- Excellent knowledge of Windows XP, Networking
- Project Management experience
- Experience of Product Design and / or Manufacturing Engineering (Automotive /Aerospace)

- Methodological competence
- Willingness to take on responsibility and work toward objectives within a team
- Strong focus on helping our customers using our technology
- Willingness to travel both domestic and international
- Good Communication attitude is a must
Responsibilities:
Participates in all phases of implementation projects
- Installs and configures and customizes ICIDO software
- Supports production of written specifications to capture business process requirements for ICIDO solutions
- Analyzes requirements and contributes to the design of ICIDO Solutions to complex customer requirements
- Assists with research on implementation projects
- Demonstrates technical/customization skills
- Documents tasks and results as assigned
- Supports case study development and provides lessons learned feedback
- Develops
multi-level relationships with customers and participates in
cross-functional design teams to understand the current business
process design and the technical framework the project is embedded in,
identify problems, complexities other technical design factors
- Contributes
to the organizations intellectual property and assets through
documentation of leading practices, example work products, methods
development and sales collateral
- Promotes the corporate
mission, vision and values in order to maintain quality,
professionalism and team spirit among all stakeholders
